Following the State of Illinois’ Tier 3 Resurgence Mitigation measures, the Township of Schaumburg will continue assist residents remotely and in-person by appointment when necessary. The Township is prepared to assist residents by phone, email and Zoom and remain deeply committed to assist all residents in need. Staff can assist with ongoing federal and state programs concerning food assistance, financial assistance and more. More information on our operations updates here.
Food Pantry
Schaumburg Township operates a client choice food pantry model. Residents in need may visit the food pantry by appointment only once every four weeks. Appointments are easy to make by calling (847) 884-0030 ext, 1013 and are available:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9:30am – 1:30pm
Tuesday, Thursday: 12:00pm – 4:00pm
Clients are asked to remain in their vehicle until appointment time.
Emergency food bags are available to those residents who express a need for additional help between visits.
Food pantry clients are required to bring a current piece of mail that has been issued within the last 30 days as proof of residency, to each appointment.
