Having been raised in a military family, I did my fair share of moving. After my husband and I were married, we wanted to find a good place to establish ourselves and raise a family. We were very fortunate to land in Schaumburg. With two young sons, we soon found ourselves immersed in the local community. I found myself volunteering in the schools while Scott helped establish the soccer program in Schaumburg and the rest is history. I went on to become a school board member with 26 years of stellar service and national recognition. I have always attained a leadership position in any organization of which I have served. My culinary skills and knowledge have served me well in creating inroads and opening doors in all aspects of community life. When the chance to serve on the Township Board presented itself, I was pleased to have the opportunity to reach out and serve a new segment of the community.
