Township of Schaumburg Supervisor’s Scholarship

The Township of
Schaumburg Supervisor’s Scholarship was established by Schaumburg
Township Supervisor Mary Wroblewski to honor a student from
Schaumburg Township who plans a career in the human services
field.

There is one $1,000 award available. All
applications will be reviewed by a Scholarship Selection Committee and
will choose the winning applicant.
No township taxpayer funds are used for
this scholarship. It is funded entirely by Mary and Vince Wroblewski.
The scholarship is administered the Schaumburg Township Human Services
Fund, a not-for-profit organization.
| Requirements to apply: |
- Live in Schaumburg Township
- Graduating from a public high
school (Hoffman Estates,
Conant, Schaumburg, Fremd)
- Permanent resident of the
State of Illinois
- High school transcripts
submitted with application
- Pursuing a career in a human
services field (nursing,
social work, physical therapy, medicine, etc)
- Financial Need
- Citizen of the United States
- Upper half of high
school class
- Submission of completed
application

Restrictions:

- One award of $1,000
- To be used for tuition, fees,
and appropriate books and supplies
- Award will be given as a
reimbursement after submission of appropriate documentation.

| Selected winner
will be announced on April 26, 2006 at the Town Board meeting.
Scholarship Selection Committee will
consist of: |
- Township department head
chosen by the Supervisor
- Member of the Human
Services Fund board of directors chosen by the HSF board
- Member of the community
chosen by the Supervisor
