Senior citizens are invited to take advantage of a variety of social and recreational programs, transportation services, and special assistance in areas ranging from legal aid to medical insurance. Call or stop in for further information about these programs and services (847) 884-0030.

Transportation services, support groups, informational programs, seminars, resource information, and referral are available to the disabled of all ages. Recognized across the country as a leader in providing services to the disabled, the Schaumburg Township Disabled Citizens Services Office offers:

Schaumburg Township Food Pantry

TOWNSHIP FOOD PANTRY IS OPEN by appointment!
Please call (847) 884-0030 and ask to speak with our General Assistance Department for further information on delivery or use of the pantry.

Regardless of the time of year, there are always needy in the Township who from time-to-time rely on food and other items from the Schaumburg Township Food Pantry. The pantry provides us the opportunity to help those in the Township who are in the greatest need. We will gratefully accept all donations.
At this time, we are particularly low on the following items:
Food Home & Personal Care

  • Canned Meats
  • Canned Pasta
  • Chunky Soup
  • Juice
  • Snacks and Crackers
  • Dry Pasta (Such as: Mostaccioli)
  • Spaghetti Sauce
  • Tomato Products
  • Canned Tomato Products
  • Kleenex
  • Paper Towels
  • Toothpaste
  • Shampoo & Conditioner
Pantry Usage for Residents of Schaumburg Township
Residents of Schaumburg Township may visit the food pantry once every 6 to 8 weeks.
Appointments are required along with a photo ID and current gas or electric bill. Verification of residency is required for each pantry usage.

Pantry hours are 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday
through Friday.
Except when closed for Holidays.
