Illinois residents may register to vote in person, online or by mail. Election Day registration is offered in the State of Illinois. Voters are required to show two forms of ID, one with a current address, to their polling place. Voters may also update their voting information on Election Day.
The easiest way to register is to go to the state's website and complete your application at: https://ova.elections.il.gov/
In Person
Cook County residents may register to vote in person with a deputy registrar in the Schaumburg Township Clerk's office.
Online
If you have an Illinois driver's license or state ID, you may register to vote online through the Illinois State Board of Elections website.
If you don't have a driver's license or State ID, you may fill out a form online, print, sign, and mail it in.
