HSF Fulfilling Our Mission

  • This past holiday season, the Human Services Fund received more than $11,000 from the local business community to be used for the Schaumburg Township Food Pantry.
  • The Human Services Fund recently provided over $3,000 in funds for the purchase of six new radios to be used in the Schaumburg Township Senior/Disabled Bus Program. They provided for a better, stronger, and more reliable communications system between bus drivers in the field and the township transportation office. This will help improve services and assist staff in getting seniors and disabled residents to their destinations.
  • The Human Services Fund is administering the Township of Schaumburg Supervisor’s Scholarship. It provides one $1,000 award to a high school senior who plans a career in a human service field such as, but not limited to, nursing, social work, physical therapy, and medicine. The graduating student must be a resident of Schaumburg Township who attends Conant, Fremd, Hoffman Estates, or Schaumburg high schools. Supervisor Mary Wroblewski is personally funding this scholarship. No township tax dollars are involved.

Donation to Township Food Pantry

The HSF donated $500 of its Septemberfest proceeds to help replenish the shelves of the Township Food Pantry. We encourage residents to buy a bag of groceries for the Food Pantry as well.
