- You may have noticed the relay standard answer phrase: "Your Caller ID Will Send". It is a new feature of the Sprint Relay. It is necessary to give people who have unlisted or unpublished numbers the opportunity to "block" sending those numbers to the called parties' caller ID. Information about which services a customer subscribes to, such as "unlisted" does not pass from the local telephone company to the relay carrier; So the Sprint Relay has no way of knowing about unlisted numbers.
- For TTY recipients, you will be receiving the equipment survey enclosed in the ITAC Communication newsletter soon. It will be helpful for ITAC to know what kind of TTY equipment you want. When you get the survey, be sure to fill out the survey and mail it back to ITAC.
- Check ITAC's websites: www.itactty.org and www.illinoisrelay711.com
