Senior Transportation Services
Senior Citizen Services Department can assist with various transportation programs for senior residents. You must be a resident of Schaumburg Township and 60 years of age or over. Please contact Senior Citizen Services Department for more information on transportation services.
Seniors Ride Free Program
Seniors Ride Free Program is available for Illinois residents aged 65 or older who reside in the RTA service regions of Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry or Will County. Seniors are eligible for free transit on fixed routes operated by Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), Regional Transportation Authority (RTA), Metra and Pace.
Township Riders Initiative Program (TRIP)
Township Riders Initiative Program (TRIP) is available to seniors 60 years of age and over for medical purposes only. Transportation service is provided by Pace within the boundaries of Barrington, Elk Grove, Hanover, Maine, Schaumburg, Palatine, and Wheeling Township.
