Requesting a Public Record

Information can be requested by the Township of Schaumburg under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) (5 ILCS 140/). Please contact us via email (FOIA@schaumburgtownship.org), mail, personal delivery or fax. You are welcome to submit a Request for Public Record Form, but it is not required. For additional information please call one of the FOIA officers at 847-884-0030.

A FOIA request can be made for any Township record. You can also specify the format in which you wish to receive the records (for example, printed or electronic form).

** Please note: the Township of Schaumburg is a separate unit of government from the Village of Schaumburg and has no access to their records, property files, nor police reports.**
