Clerk’s Office/Administrative ServicesKey Dates in Presidential Primary - March 20th
Just a reminder that the Presidential Primary Elections are fast approaching! With Election Day making its fast approach we have provided some key dates and information for your convenience.
• 2/9/2012 - First day absentee ballot applications are accepted
• 2/21/2012 - Last day to register to vote • 2/22/2012 - First day of grace period registration and voting • 2/27/2012 - First day of Early Voting • 3/13/2012 - Last day of grace period registration and voting • 3/15/2012 - Last day of Early Voting • 3/15/2012 - Last day to request a mail-in absentee ballot, including military and overseas voters. • 3/16/2012 - In-person absentee voting begins at the Clerk's downtown Chicago office and five suburban courthouse mini-centers • 3/19/2012 - Last day voted mail-in absentee ballots can be postmarked for acceptance by the Clerk's office • 3/19/2012 - Last day of in-person absentee voting at the Clerk's downtown Chicago office and five suburban courthouse mini-centers • 3/20/2012 - Election Day If you need an absentee ballot you may fill out an application here and mail it to Cook County Clerk's office, 69 W. Washington St., Room 500, Chicago, IL 60602. Application must be received no later than March 15th.
Earl voting will begin on February 27th - March 15th. Locations of early voting sites can be found here.

Cook County Vehicle StickersIf you live in the unincorporated area of Schaumburg Township, you are required to purchase a Cook County Vehicle Sticker for each vehicle registered at your address. All vehicle stickers must be purchased and displayed by July 1st in order to avoid a late fee equal to the price of the sticker or $25.00, whichever is greater. Failure to purchase a vehicle sticker may result in the issuance of a ticket and fine of $75.00. Read more ›› Notary Public ServiceNotary Public Service is offered free of charge. Picture identification required for all notarizations. The Township of Schaumburg will not notarize any documents involving a document of conveyance transferring or purporting to transfer title to residential real property located in Cook County (5 ILCS 312/3-102). All Notary Publics reserve the right to refuse service to any individual(s) who cannot show proper identification or the item presented to notarize is unfamiliar.
