The Deaf Line Newsletter is available at the Township from Disabled Services or by calling 847-884-1560 (TTY) or 847-884-0030 (V). It includes articles of interest to people who are deaf or hard of hearing or those agencies working with hearing impaired people. Deaf Line is issued monthly and includes a calendar.
Ablegram On Audiotape
This newsletter is available on audiocassette for people with vision problems. If you would like to arrange for a copy of the tape please contact Disabled Services at 847-884-0030. This service is made possible through a donation from the Schaumburg-Hoffman Lions Club and the volunteer efforts of Dick Christy.
Meals Now and Home Delivered Meals
Are you unable to cook or shop? If so, Meals Now can deliver meals to your door weekly. The food can be frozen. All meals are low sodium and low fat. Call 847-524-7496 for information.
If you are over 60 years of age, contact the Kenneth Young Center for Home Delivered Meals. Their number is 847-524-8800.
